Legendary Luchador “El Fantasma” to Receive the 2025 Lucha Libre Award

The Cauliflower Alley Club is thrilled to announce that the 2025 Lucha Libre Award will be presented to a true icon of the sport—El Fantasma.

A superhero brought to life, El Fantasma began his wrestling journey in 1979 and has since built an enduring legacy that continues to inspire generations. Known as “El Duende de Camina”—The Walking Ghost—he captivated fans across the globe, from Japan to the legendary Dallas Sportatorium, and earned legendary status throughout Mexico.

Today, he continues to serve the wrestling world as the commissioner for the Box y Lucha Commission in Mexico City, proving that his influence on the sport goes far beyond the ring.

We are honored to recognize his contributions and celebrate his extraordinary career at the 59th Annual Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion, held August 18–20, 2025, at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
