Jimmy Korderas Announced as the 2026 CAC Charlie Smith Referee Award Honoree

The Cauliflower Alley Club is proud to announce that Jimmy Korderas will be honored with the 2026 Charlie Smith Referee Award at CAC 60.

A respected referee, author, and wrestling personality, Jimmy Korderas built a career around one of the most important and often underappreciated roles in professional wrestling. A great referee does far more than count pinfalls and call for the bell. They help manage the flow of the match, protect the performers, communicate in the moment, and add to the realism and drama without taking attention away from the athletes in the ring.

For years, Korderas was a familiar face to wrestling fans around the world, officiating countless matches and major moments during his time with WWE. His calm presence, professionalism, and understanding of match structure made him a trusted figure inside the squared circle.

Beyond his work as an official, Jimmy has continued to contribute to the wrestling world through commentary, analysis, media appearances, and his book, The Three Count: My Life in Stripes as a WWE Referee. His perspective has helped fans gain a deeper appreciation for the craft, responsibility, and pressure that comes with wearing the stripes.

The Charlie Smith Referee Award celebrates those who have brought honor, credibility, and excellence to the role of professional wrestling referee. Jimmy Korderas represents that tradition with a career built on respect, experience, and dedication to the industry.
