Dan Spivey Announced as the 2026 CAC International Wrestling Award Honoree

The Cauliflower Alley Club is proud to announce that Dan Spivey will be honored with the 2026 CAC International Wrestling Award at CAC 60.

A powerful and versatile presence in professional wrestling, Dan Spivey built a career that reached across major promotions, territories, and international stages. From the United States to Japan, Spivey made his mark with an imposing look, hard-hitting style, and the ability to stand out wherever he competed.



Fans remember Spivey from his time in the AWA, NWA, WCW, WWE, and All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he shared the ring with some of the biggest names of his era. Whether competing as a singles star or as part of major tag team combinations, Spivey brought size, intensity, and credibility to every locker room he entered.

His career also included one of wrestling’s most unforgettable character transformations as Waylon Mercy, a chilling and ahead-of-its-time persona that left a lasting impression on fans and continues to be discussed decades later. Though the run was brief, its impact became part of Spivey’s unique legacy in the industry.

The CAC International Wrestling Award recognizes those whose careers have reached beyond borders and made an impact across the global wrestling landscape. Dan Spivey represents that standard through a career that crossed promotions, countries, and generations of fans.
