Remembering Rich Ingling
Remembering Rich Ingling1950–2026

We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Rich Ingling.
Rich served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the Cauliflower Alley Club, but those titles only begin to tell the story. To so many of us, he was far more. He was a friend. He was a brother. He was one of the true pillars of this club.
Before his years of service to CAC, Rich was part of the business as a referee, someone who understood the wrestling world from the inside. But what defined him most was not what he did in the ring or even the positions he held, it was who he was as a man.
If you ever attended a CAC reunion, you felt Rich’s presence.
Each year, he would stand in front of the room and speak about the brothers and sisters we had lost. It was never just a moment on the schedule, it was something he truly carried. He reminded all of us to connect with one another. To take that picture. To give that hug. And if nothing else, to simply ask, “How you doing?”
That message meant something because it came from him.
One of the things closest to Rich’s heart was the Courage Award. Year after year, he presented it with a level of care and sincerity that you could feel in the room. The Courage Award represents the very core of what the Cauliflower Alley Club stands for, recognizing someone who has shown tremendous strength while facing some of life’s toughest battles.
That wasn’t just an award to Rich. It was personal. It was a reflection of his belief in people, in resilience, and in being there for one another when it matters most.
Rich understood humanity. He understood that this business, and this club, is built on relationships, on compassion, and on showing up for people when they need it most.
He was rare. Truly rare. The kind of man who made you feel seen, who made you feel like you mattered, and who never needed recognition to do the right thing.
Rich will live on through the memories he shared with each of us. In every reunion, every story, every handshake, every hug, and every moment where someone chooses to reach out and check in on another, his presence will still be felt.
Thank you for the moments.
Thank you for the memories.
You will be truly missed.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
We love you, Rich.
