The Cauliflower Alley Club is saddened by the news that "Dynamite" Dominic Denucci passed away August 12 at the age of 89.
In the latest edition of the year, editor Vance Nevada wrote this about Denucci. "Best known for his achievements in WWE as a three time World tag team champion, Denucci started his career in Montreal in 1958 after immigrating from Italy. During the first year of his career his wrestled under three different names -- The Masked Marvel, Dominic Nucciarone and Dominic Bravo."
CAC President Brian Blair said, "It is very sad! I know the things that will soon be written about him. It will be an amazing story of an Italian immigrant, who worked hard and became one of the most famous people who ever wrestled in Madison Square Garden. The man is "pure history" and we will miss him greatly at this September's reunion where he was scheduled to be presented with the highly coveted Trainer's Award."
Mr. Denucci trained CAC honoree/ WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, Shane Douglas and others at a wrestling school that he operated out of Pittsburgh, PA.
The CAC extends our sincerest condolences to family, friends and many fans the world over.
