A Reunion Update for Our Canadian Members

A Reunion Update for Our Canadian Members

Hello my fellow CAC Canadian members,

As you know, the 55th Cauliflower Alley Club reunion is set to take place in Las Vegas this Sept. 13-15, 2021.

As you are also aware, as I type, Canadian attendance at this year's event will definitely be a challenge for some. Impossible for many.

The Covid situation is what it is and we all know the challenges that we are facing at home because of it. There is no need for me to reiterate that here.

IF you are planning to attend this year's reunion please wait until, on or about, June 1 when further reunion ticketing and hotel information SHOULD be up on our website. That date is not etched in stone but we sure are hoping to be able to open up banquet ticket sales and have hotel capacity limits, etc. by that date.

For those that have asked when the 56th reunion will be; the date has not been decided as of yet. The executive board is working hard within the confines of the many challenges presented to us to make sure that the 55th event will be enjoyable, memorable and, as safe as possible, for everyone that attends. As per usual, we hope to have the next reunion date in time to announce at our 55th event in Sept.

For Canadians - or others- who have decided, or will decide, that they won't be able to attend this September's reunion there are three options for the banquet tickets that you had already purchased. The first option would be to donate that ticket purchase amount to the club's benevolent fund. The second would be a full refund however, with so many things on our volunteer Treasurer's plate, this refund won't be immediate and will take time. Your refund could take as much as 6 to 8 weeks after the Sept. reunion to process . The third and final option would be to roll your ticket over for our 56th reunion.

For all planning to attend the 55th reunion we, of course, wish a happy, healthy and rewarding time. Times are tough but I am hopeful that when the world "gets back to normal" whatever "normal" might be, the ring of friendship will remain strong and come together like it never has before.

Tough times don't last. Tough people do!

Stay strong my friends and happy, healthy wishes to you and yours,

Ron Hutchison CAC Executive Board Director
