After months of deliberation and reflection, we are excited to announce the new lineup of our Cauliflower Alley Club leadership team and, as you can see, our new, updated website.
We have brought Scott Teal on board as the executive vice-president. Scott is in regular contact with both wrestlers and wrestling fans and has a real heart for both individuals and the club. He brings a lot to the table, including writing and organizational skills, and he is directly responsible for the new look of the website. Perhaps the most prolific historian of pro wrestling, he is the owner of Crowbar Press, the leading publisher of books on the subject.
Also joining us on the advisory board as attorney and legal counsel is Bruce Tharpe. Bruce, the owner of Bruce Tharpe Law Office and the former president of the National Wrestling Alliance, has been an attorney for 29 years. He offers us pro bono legal support and will advise us on all legal matters to keep us in compliance with 501(c)(3) regulations
Jeffrey Compton, publisher of “CDC Gaming Reports,” the largest B2B casino industry news website in the world, steps in as our Nostalgia Room chairman and ad sales director. Jeffrey has proven to be a dedicated and resourceful CAC member in the past and assisted the CAC with fund-raising and other needs. He is the perfect fit for this position.
You can find a list of our team members on the Board and Team Members page.
I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Scott Hosey and David Buckler for their tireless service to the CAC. They have been the heart and soul of CAC operations for many years and recently chose to resign from their leadership roles. They will be missed greatly, but we look forward to seeing them at the reunions. For the first time in a long time, they will be able to attend the reunions and just enjoy the camaraderie, without the headaches that often come with leadership responsibilities.
I have never been more excited about the future of the CAC. Our leadership team is committed to being more involved than ever and open to ideas from each of you. We look forward to what lies in store for the CAC in the days ahead.
We also look forward to hearing from each of you and seeing you at our next reunion, April 29–May 1, 2019. I would love for you to get involved and help with the reunion, so if there’s a particular area you’d like to assist with, please let us know.
