Sad News About Carol McCutchin

It is with a heavy heart that the Cauliflower Alley Club shares the news that lifetime member Carol McCutchin has passed away in Addison, TX from natural causes. Carol was in her mid-80’s and had been ill for quite some time. Carol was former CAC President Red Bastien’s partner for close to 30 years, and herself a wonderful philanthropist for the CAC.

Thank you to Greg Oliver for this wonderful tribute:

Carol will be greatly missed by all that knew her. The former “1st Lady of the CAC” is survived by her daughter Tracy.

May Carol rest in peace.

  1. Very sad to hear this. She was truly a WONDERFUL Lady

  2. I was truly blessed to have known and been a friend of Carol. Carol and Red would come to Hawaii and my late husband, Donn & I would spend time with them. Carol has been coming to Hawaii the last few years 2 times a year so I so enjoyed spending time in Waikiki with her. She will be truly missed. She was a truly special friend. Aloha Carol, my friend, Judy Lewin

She was a constant and a comfort to those experiencing difficulties. A true friend of the CAC who took her role seriously.

    Rest peacefully, dear soul.
