Annual
DOMESTIC dues for the CAC are still
just $25, which qualifies the member to receive the news and fact-filled monthly
newsletter, plus a special place in "The Ring of Friendship." (Please
be advised that, due to soaring international postage rates, that the dues
structure for Canadian, Mexican and other Overseas members is different.)
There are
two ways, for people in those latter categories, to structure their dues. If
they want the information-filled MONTHLY CAC newsletters, annual dues for
Canada/Mexico are $35; for other Overseas members, annual dues are $45.
However, if those non-U.S. residents wish only SEMI-ANNUAL newsletters, their
dues will remain at $25.
The newsletter includes 12 full pages of news, pictures, feature stories,
announcements of upcoming events and other items of interest to the
membership.
To produce a copy of the official Membership Form, please just click on the ear.
Then fill in the simple form and print it out on your computer. Or, should you
like, provide the asked-for information on a separate piece of paper. Then mail
either the form, or the information, along with your dues (if renewing, just the
dues, please) to:

IMPORTANT CAC DUES
NOTICE
If you've not
noticed already, there is a change in the Cauliflower Alley Club dues structure
-- for non-U.S. residents. The basic dues remain at $25 worldwide, but with an
asterisk (*) for those who live either in Canada or Mexico, or even farther away
than our two neighboring lands.
The
reason for the change is the cost of mailing the monthly, 12-page newsletter --
a dandy affair put together largely by Dean and Ruth Silverstone in Washington
state and printed by Royal Duncan in Illinois -- outside the borders of the
United States.
The asterisk (*) means this, henceforth, for non-U.S. residents: If you opt for
the basic $25 dues, you will receive only SEMI-ANNUAL newsletters, rather than
monthly newsletters.
If you live in Canada or Mexico, and want a newsletter EVERY month in your
mailbox, the dues are now $35. Ditto, a hike to $45 is in place for CAC members
anywhere outside North America who wish to receive the MONTHLY newsletter.
Again, if you are content with a semi-annual newsletter, the annual dues remain
at $25.
A good deal of thought and discussion went into this matter before the altered
dues format was adopted by the CAC executive committee. We trust that those of
you affected by the change will understand the reasons for it.
