The CAC can confirm that club member and former President of the NWA, Bob Geigel, has passed away today from advanced Alzheimer’s disease.  He was 90 years of age.

The wrestling community owes a great deal to Bob, and we at the Cauliflower Alley Club send our deepest sympathies to his friends and loved ones in this time of mourning.

You can read more about Bob’s great life here.

UPDATE: The CAC can confirm that club member and former President of the NWA, Bob Geigel, is currently in a nursing home.  He is resting comfortably, and all of us here at the Cauliflower Alley Club wish him well.  Keep fighting Bob!

Longtime CAC member and former President of the NWA Bob Geigel needs your well-wishes!

Unfortunately Bob fell the other day and broke his hip,.  Bob was a former President of the National Wrestling Alliance.  He is also a 25 year plus member of the CAC .  He and his daughters were all set to come to the CAC in June as they have for the last 14 years.

You can send Bob a get well card at:

It would really help Bob to hear from all of us in the wrestling community!  Also if you want to post something on our site I’m sure he would like it!

Get well soon Mr Geigel, I have many fond memories of going to Memorial Hall in KCK every Thursday night. It was always a highlight when you in the house. There was always a lot of excitement when you was there with Harley Race, Bob Brown and Rufas R Jones. I have gotten to meet you a few times since then and you have always been a true Gentleman and you are always willing to talk about the old days of wrestling.

  31. great loss in the passing of bob geigle. I went to many matches in the 1960’s to watch my favorite tag team texas bob geigle and bulldog bob brown. their feuds with the Viking/handsome jack Donovan, the stomper/cowboy bob ellis, the bruiser/and the crusher were legendary. I’ll always remember one of his standard lines “it’s hard to be humble when you are as great as I am!” rest in peace bob!
