Mr. Martelle has been involved in martial arts for over 23 years and is a Professional Martial arts instructor in Canada. He currently teaches Muay Thai and Yang T'ai Chi at the Kingston Family YMCA in Canada. He also gives private lessons in these arts as well as in Northern Shaolin, Jiu Jitsu and Pankration Athlima.

6th degree black belt in Ju-Jitsu
3rd degree black belt in Pankration Athlima
1st degree black belt in Judo
Certified Coach with the Okinawan Submission Jiu-Jitsu Federation
Faixa Azul in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
ICWA Level 2 Catch wrestling student-the highest ICWA rank outside of the USA
2 time recipient of Federal Commendations of international competitive success from Canadian Prime Minister
Recognized by the World Muaythai Council and World Pankration Athlima Federation

Mike recently won the Mexican Vale Tudo Championship via forfeit, when his opponent (billed as the toughest guy in Tijuana) literally fled minutes before the scheduled fight.
